Marketing and Business Development Representative
Job Description:
Quatrefoil Associates is looking for an energetic self-starter for a Business Development and Marketing position that offers the opportunity for personal and professional growth. An understanding of the museum, informal education, non-profit and related markets is required. Outstanding communication skills and attention to quality are a must.
The ideal candidate will have a combination of business development and marketing experience. This position is a full-time position and reports to the CEO.
Responsibilities:
Business Development
Create high quality leads for business opportunities by reaching out to our client community in the museum, visitor center and informal education markets.
Contact and visit qualified potential clients and venues to establish and build relationships with decision makers.
Lead the Quatrefoil proposal writing and submittal effort for corporate, non-profit and government procurements.
Stay current with industry trends and inform Quatrefoil Partners of potential market opportunities.
Maintain a database of sales leads and opportunities, maintain a sales forecast.
Cultivate partnerships with industry collaborators such as architects, planners, fabricators and owner representatives.
Marketing
Initiate, manage and monitor digital marketing strategies and outreach such as newsletters, social media presence.
Maintain Quatrefoil’s catalog of digital and print marketing literature, with the help of in-house graphic designers. Create (write) content for Quatrefoil’s marketing collateral such as newsletters, website, brochures.
Assist Quatrefoil partners in formulating the firm’s marketing strategy. develop, manage, and monitor a yearly marketing plan and budget.
Manage the Quatrefoil brand and branding including logo, website, literature, trade show presence.
Maintain Quatrefoil’s memberships with industry groups and associations. Manage Quatrefoil’s trade show participation and represent Quatrefoil at industry events and meetings.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or a related field
• Minimum 5 years work experience in Business Development, Marketing or Sales
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, a natural commitment to quality
• Experience with digital marketing tools
• Self-motivated and energetic, with the capability to work independently and coordinate with Quatrefoil Partners
Preferred
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of the museum, not-for-profit and informal learning marketplace
• Travel: Up to 50 % may be required.

Exhibit Designer
Freelance, Part Time or Full Time
Job Description:
Quatrefoil Associates has an exciting opportunity for a mid-level Exhibit Designer to join our team and assist with all aspects of spatial design for exhibit environments and interactives for museums and other interpretive centers. The results of your hard work will be seen and enjoyed by museum visitors and the general public all over the United States.
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in Industrial design, architecture, interior design or exhibit design
• 3-5 years of experience in exhibit design or a related field
• Creative thinking that results in innovative design solutions
• Ability to investigate and resolve design problems
• Ability to execute design directions from Quatrefoil senior design staff
• Ability to read and understand design control and architecture drawings
• Produce design detail drawings and assembled drawing packages
• Proficiency in Vectorworks, AutoCad or CAD related software, Vectorworks preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe products
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with designers, clients and collaborators
The following is a plus:
• Hand sketching
• Knowledge of materials, components, fabrication processes and techniques
• Transform rough designs into design control or final design drawings
• Knowledge of CAD organization and file management
• Proficiency in 3D modeling tools such as Vectorworks (preferred)
• AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, Enscape or other industry accepted software.

2D/Graphic Designer
Freelance, Part Time or Full Time
Job Description:
Quatrefoil Associates has available opportunities for full time, part time or freelance 2D/Graphic Designers designing experiences for visitor centers, museums, aquariums and other informal learning spaces.
Required Experience:
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) is required.
• Understanding of and experience in museum graphics
• Detail-oriented, hands on, and self-motivated
• Good typography and text layout skills
• Proven understanding of printing process and technology
• Experience managing print vendors including job sourcing and pricing
• Knowledge of design principles
• Works well with team
• Experience with design for digital documents and/or screen/UI Design is a plus
Responsibilities:
• Develop 2D/Graphic design concepts and approaches for educational spaces including environmental and interpretive treatments
• Design graphics for environments, exhibitions, on-line digital materials and related projects.
• Create graphic designs concepts, graphic hierarchy, final graphics and production files.
• Work in tandem with team to ensure graphics communicate content clearly, integrate well with their physical environment, and are ADA compliant.
• Develop style guides including color palettes, font selection and layout templates.
• Use computer software to generate graphic elements, visualizations, maps and charts.
• Create and maintain graphic element list/schedule of graphic materials
• Acquire assets needed to complete design (photo research, information research and reference).
• Prepare files for deliverables for client approval. Design and layout deliverable package itself.
• Prepare files for final production with notes and instructions for vendors. Communicate with vendors throughout production of final pieces.
• Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work
Education:
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, with 3- 5 years of professional experience as a graphic designer with portfolio that includes print work as well as informational, environmental and production layouts

Quatrefoil Associates has exciting part-time and freelance opportunities for User Experience/User Interface Designers and Game Designers to create interactive experiences, multi-touch interfaces and multimedia environments for museums and other interpretive centers.
Requirements:
• Ability to convert educational and experiential goals into engaging, fun and smart user interface experiences.
• Innovative conceptual and graphic design skills for interactive content delivery and user interface design
• 3+ years experience developing and designing interfaces for multi-touch kiosks in public spaces or for clients in the education industry
• 3+ years experience in responsive interface design, successfully adapting experiences for stationary multi-touch kiosks for mobile and tablet use.
• Experience with rapid development and prototyping tools such as Interactive PDF, Balsamiq, Axure or similar
• Expert level proficiency creating production artwork with Graphic Design Tools/Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience creating wireframes, flowcharts, production specifications
• Experience solving a broad range of UX design problems with a focus on user engagement
• Experience in presenting complex content in an easy to understand manner
