Chester County History Center: “Becoming Chester County” Exhibition

Quatrefoil designed “Becoming Chester County,” a 5,000 square-foot permanent exhibition of the Chester County Historical Society. “Becoming Chester County” traces the history of the area from the arrival of William Penn and contact with the indigenous people in the 1600s to present day.

Highlights of our collaboration:

  • Displayed more than 600 artifacts to showcase the breadth of the museum’s collection.
  • Created interactives where visitors of all ages and abilities can learn about the stories of daily life, work, and civic engagement in Chester County.
  • Raised awareness of the cultural heritage of the county, from the first Quakers to the German immigrants of the 1800s to present day.
